Personal ProfileDr. Burgess is originally from NY and moved to Atlanta, GA in 1990 to attend Spelman College and Emory University School of Medicine.  Her hobbies include playing tennis, cooking, and traveling.  She also enjoys spending time with her family.

My Life Story

In October 2008, Dr. Burgess started Personal Touch Medical Center with the goal of providing exceptional medical  care to her patients..

Dr. Latasha M. Burgess is board certified in Family Medicine with interest in primary care and preventive medicine.  She has strong attachments to Georgia having received her undergraduate at Spelman College and earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine.  Dr. Burgess completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook in 2001.  Upon completion of her residency training, Dr. Burgess returned to Georgia to practice medicine. Dr. Burgess' experience comes from working in several medical offices located in Columbus, GA and the Atlanta Metro Areas.  And in October 2008, Dr. Burgess started Personal Touch Medical Center with the goal of providing exceptional medical  care to her patients.
